I created Peela because I lived the problem myself. For years, I struggled to enjoy beautifully painted nails without compromising my religious obligations.
Traditional nail polishes made it difficult to maintain the level of cleanliness required for prayer, and the harsh chemicals, strong odours, and aggressive removers irritated my skin and weakened my nails.
No brand spoke to women like me - women who wanted elegance and integrity, beauty and belief, expression and ease.
What began as a personal frustration grew into a clear truth:
Millions of women shared the same struggle, and no one was solving it.
That unmet need became my mission.
